Usage
Rja (or raja) is used to make a polite or urgent request. It is placed at the start or end of a sentence: "rja chouf", "aawnouni rja". It is found mostly in writing, in online comments, calls to share, and messages addressed to a person in charge. It adds a nuance of insistence, sometimes of pleading. In speech between close friends or family, ya3tik essa7a or 3aychek are often preferred. It can be used safely: the word stays neutral and polite, with a slightly formal coloring that comes from standard Arabic.
