Meanings

Usage
Bsit describes what is simple or easy: "7al bsit" (a simple solution). Applied to a person, it means "modest" or "unpretentious": "nas bsat" (simple people). It can also downplay a problem: "mochkil bsit" (a minor problem). The usual forms are "bsita" (feminine) and "bsat" (plural). It agrees with the noun and comes after it. Unlike English "simple", it is not used to mean "naive"; for that, "niya" is used instead.
