Fbrayer is the name of the second month of the year. It belongs to the series of month names used in Morocco, close to the Latin names: yennayer, fbrayer, mars, etc. It is used with the preposition f: f fbrayer ("in February"). In conversation, many people also say "février" in the French way, or use the month number: chhar juj ("month two"). In official writing and in the media, the same form fbrayer is used. Not to be confused with the Eastern Arabic month names, which are little used in Morocco.
