Meanings
- in her, in it
- about it, on that
Usage
Faha is a regional variant of fiha, the preposition fi ("in") followed by the feminine pronoun -ha. It is heard in some parts of eastern Algeria. The meaning depends on the verb: "zid faha" (add some more), "nestenna faha" (I'm waiting for it), "ma3andi ma ndir faha" (I have no need of it). The pronoun refers to a feminine noun, or vaguely to "the thing". Elsewhere in Algeria, people say fiha. It is not a standalone word but an inflected form, comparable to "in it" or "of it".
