- to jump with fear
Usage
Fezz, imperfect yfezz, expresses a sudden movement: getting up abruptly from your seat or bed. The verb is often linked to surprise, fear or urgency. In the imperative, "fezz!" is a familiar, pressing command, like "get up!" or "move!". The typical construction is "fezz men blastou" (he leaped from his place). For a plain "get up", without abruptness, nod is used instead. So keep the idea of speed in fezz.
