Usage
Lhadra is the noun derived from the verb hdar (to speak), the usual verb for "to speak" in Algeria. It refers to what is said: had lhadra mach s7i7a (these words are false), or a way of speaking: hadret dzayer (the speech of Algiers). Common expressions: bla hadra (without arguing), hadra fargha (empty words), kter lhadra (talking too much). The register is common and informal. Note: the word has nothing to do with the hadra, the Sufi ceremony, which is a homograph.
