Usage
Monaddama is a Standard Arabic word, common in Algeria for an organization: international, humanitarian, associative or clandestine. It is found mostly in the media, in official names and in discussions of current events. In conversation it keeps a somewhat formal tone; for a club or a neighbourhood association, people rather say "jam3iya". Do not confuse it with the participle "mnaddma", "tidy, organized", which describes a person or a place. The plural is monaddamat.
