Usage
Najah is a Standard Arabic word fully integrated into Algerian speech. It is heard above all in good wishes and congratulations: after an exam, a project, a wedding or a successful video. It is often paired with "rabbi ywaffqek" (may God grant you success). The phrase "men najah l najah", "from success to success", is very common for encouraging someone. To announce a school result, the verb nja7 is used instead ("nja7t f le bac", I passed my bac). The register is neutral, slightly formal.
