Yadra introduces a question one asks oneself or puts to others. It expresses curiosity, anticipation or worry, somewhat like "I wonder" or "who knows" in English. It is placed at the start of a sentence, followed by a question word: yadra wach sra? (I wonder what happened), yadra win rah? (where can he possibly be?). Used alone, it asks for a result or an opinion: when showing a new outfit, one says yadra? to mean "so, do you like it?". The register is colloquial and spoken.
