“7fida” (حفيدة) is a noun in Moroccan Darija meaning granddaughter (family relation).

Meanings

  1. granddaughter (family relation)

Usage

7fida is the feminine of 7fid. The word means the daughter of one's son or daughter, and is mostly used with a possessive: 7fidti (my granddaughter), 7fidtek (your granddaughter). Note that 7fida is not used to mean a little girl; for that, say bnita or drriya sghira.
