Usage
Abril is the usual name of the month of April in Morocco, in the Gregorian calendar used in daily life. It is generally preceded by f to place a moment in time: f abril, "in April". One also says chhar abril, "the month of April". Many Moroccans also refer to months by their number, for example chhar arb3a, "the fourth month", especially for administrative dates. The French word avril is also understood and used, notably by French-speaking speakers.
