Moroccan Darija · adverb
“flblasa” (فلبلاصة) is an adverb in Moroccan Darija meaning immediately, right away.
Meanings
- immediately, right away
- in place, in the right place
- on the spot, at once
Usage
F lblasa, literally "in the place", is mainly used to say that one acted without waiting: "3ayyt lih f lblasa" ("I called him right away"). The expression is informal and very frequent in speech. Beware of the literal meaning, which is still alive: with an adjective or a complement, as in "f lblasa lmonasiba" ("in the right place"), it is simply a location. For the idea of "right away", you can also say daba daba.
