Usage
F lkharij means first of all "abroad" in Morocco. The word lkharij commonly refers to foreign countries, hence the expression "nas lkharij" for Moroccans living abroad. The meaning "outside, outdoors" also exists, but for "go out, go outside", everyday language uses berra instead. Be careful not to translate systematically as "outside": "khddam f lkharij" means "he works abroad". The register is common and neutral.
