Usage
Ghar9an is an adjective formed from ghre9. It mostly describes, figuratively, someone who is buried under something. It is constructed with f: ghar9an f lkhedma, "swamped with work", or ghar9an f ddyoun, "drowning in debt". It can also express total absorption, as in ghar9an f tfkir, "lost in thought". The feminine is ghar9ana and the plural ghar9anin. For the literal sense of "drowned", a verbal construction with ghre9 is often preferred.
