Usage
Lghoul is the man-eating monster of folk tales and of stories told to frighten children. Its feminine form is lghoula. By extension, it is used humorously for someone who eats enormously (kayakol bhal lghoul) or for a person who is impressive in size or strength. The word is almost always used with the article: lghoul. Do not confuse it with the French "goule" or the English "ghoul": in darija, the usual sense is closer to "ogre".
