Meanings

Usage
Mitali, borrowed from Standard Arabic, describes what matches the ideal or serves as a model: l7el lmitali (the ideal solution), rajel mitali (an exemplary husband). It belongs to a fairly educated register and is often used as a predicate with rah. The feminine is mitaliya. In everyday speech, people prefer wa3er, nadi or mzyan bzaf to say that something is excellent. Be careful not to confuse it with mtal (example, proverb), from which it derives in meaning.
