Usage
7arrek is a very common verb meaning to set in motion. In cooking, it refers to stirring a sauce or a preparation, often with a ladle (mgharfa). In everyday life, it means to move or shift something: 7arrek el korsi, "move the chair". The expression 7arrek rou7ek, literally "move yourself", is used to rush someone, like "hurry up" or "get moving". The reflexive form t7arrek means "to move, to start moving". Don't confuse it with 7arg, "to burn", from which 7arka, clandestine emigration, derives.
