Usage
Akaya is a colloquial word, used mainly by young people and in speech. It is placed at the end of a list or sentence to signal that the list goes on or that the listener can tell what is meant, like "and all that", "etc." or "and stuff" in English. It often follows "w": "w akaya". It is not used in formal writing. It can also close a remark in a slightly casual tone, like "anyway". It is neither a noun nor an adjective: it is a simple discourse marker, with no meaning of its own outside this context.
