Meanings
- there is still (time) left
Usage
Mazalleh is formed from "mazel" (still) and the pronoun "lah". It is used to indicate the time remaining before an event or the end of a period. It is used with a length of time: "mazalleh jom3a" (there is still a week left), "mazalleh 3am" (there is still a year left). The pronoun has no specific meaning: it refers vaguely to the thing awaited. It is very colloquial and informal. Note that the expression does not agree with the duration. It contrasts with "fet" or "kmel" (it's past, it's over).
Example
مازالّه جمعة على العيد.
