Usage
Mezyen is the usual adjective for saying that a person or thing is beautiful or well done. It agrees in gender and number: mezyena in the feminine, mezynin in the plural. It also describes a pleasant situation or thing: “el jaw mezyen” (the weather is nice), “hédha mezyen” (that's good). The register is neutral and familiar, usable anywhere in speech. To express approval, it is used alone: “mezyen!” (very good!). The meaning depends on context. Applied to a person, it refers first to appearance.
