Usage
Nadhra means a look or glance: "a3tih nadhra" (give him a look). The expression "7ob min awwel nadhra" (love at first sight) is very well known. Figuratively, the word means a way of seeing things: "3andou nadhra" is said of someone with vision or good judgment. The register is common but somewhat elevated; in very colloquial speech, one would rather say "chouf" or "choufa" for a quick glance. The plural "nadharet" is used for insistent looks.
