Meanings

- drop
Usage
No9ta means "point" in several senses: a specific place ("no9tet 3oubour", crossing point), an element of a discussion ("fama no9ta mouch wadh7a", there is a point that isn't clear) or the punctuation mark. At school, it is the grade: "chnouwa no9tek fel math?" (what grade did you get in maths?). The plural is no9at. The word is also used for a drop. For an English speaker, the "school grade" sense is the least obvious but one of the most frequent in speech.
Example
فمّة نقطة ما فهمتهاش في الدرس
fama no9ta ma fhemtech fel dars
“There's a point in the lesson that I didn't understand.”
