Usage
Romanci is a loanword adapted from French "romantique". It is very common among young people and on social media. It describes a person, a film, a song or a mood: "film romanci", "jaw romanci" (romantic atmosphere). The feminine is romancia and the plural is romanciyin. The register is informal and sometimes slightly ironic, for example to mock an overly sentimental scene. The ending -i follows the pattern of Arabic adjectives.
