Usage
Soltana literally means the wife or daughter of a sultan. In everyday use, it is mostly a compliment paid to a woman or a female singer one admires: "enti soltana", "soltanet el-ghna". The word is also used affectionately for a daughter or wife one dotes on. It belongs to an affectionate or praising register. Note: Soltana is also a female first name.
