Sporti is used mainly for clothes and shoes: a "sporty", casual outfit, as opposed to a dressed-up one. Hence labes sporti, "dressed sporty", or sabbat sporti for sneakers. The adjective also applies to a person who does sports or to a car with a sporty look. It is invariable in everyday use, though sportiya is sometimes heard in the feminine. It belongs to informal register and remains very common among young people.
