Usage
Ta3dhib comes from standard Arabic but has entered Tunisian speech, especially in political, legal and human rights discussions: athar ta3dhib, "traces of torture". The corresponding verb is 3adheb, "to torture, to cause suffering". The tone remains strong: it is not used for a mere inconvenience.
