Meanings

- TV (actor, show)
Usage
Talfziya is the feminine form of the adjective derived from talfza, the Tunisian word for "television". It is found mostly in fixed phrases such as qana talfziya, "television channel", or barnamej talfzi, "televised programme". It is also used for a television actor or actress, as opposed to a theatre one: momathla masra7iya w talfziya. The register is rather media-style and formal. In everyday conversation, a construction with talfza is preferred: fi talfza, "on TV". Be careful not to confuse it with the noun talfza itself.
Example
