Meanings
- relating to a ministry
- issued by a minister
Usage
Wizeri is an adjective taken from standard Arabic, borrowed as is into derja with the Tunisian pronunciation ending in "i". It is heard mainly about administration and current affairs: qarar wizeri (ministerial decree), majless wizeri (ministerial council), mosdar wizeri (ministerial source). Its register is rather formal and journalistic, but it is common in conversations about politics or administrative procedures. The feminine is wizeriya (lajna wizeriya, ministerial commission). It always follows the noun, as in French. It never refers to the minister as a person, who is called wazir.
Example
طلع قرار وزاري جديد على الامتحانات
