Meanings
- doesn't end, never runs out
- to end, to be used up
Usage
Youfech is the negative imperfective form of "wfa / youfa", meaning to end or to run out. The final "-ch" is the negation marker, with "ma" placed before: "ma youfech", "it doesn't end." It is used for something that seems endless: "el hrej ma youfech" (the chatter never ends). It is also said of resources that run out quickly, as in "el flous wfet" (the money is gone). The register is informal and common. Be careful not to confuse this verb with the classical "wafa", to keep a promise: in Tunisian, it mainly expresses the idea of ending.
Example

el khedma hedhi ma youfech.
