Usage
Fiha khir (literally "there is good in it") is a formula of consolation and optimism. It is said after a setback, a failure or bad news, to mean that everything happens for a reason and that good will eventually come of it. It is often used in the form "koulech fiha khir" or "ga3 fiha khir" (everything is for the best), with a nuance of pious resignation. It can also describe a generous person: "hadik el mra fiha khir". It is not a greeting: do not confuse it with sbah el khir.
