Usage
Hdar means "to be present" or "to attend" an event: a wedding, a funeral, a match, a meeting. It is often used without a preposition (hdar el 3ers, "he attended the wedding") or with fi. It should not be confused with hadder, with a doubled consonant, which means "to prepare": hadder el makla, "to prepare the meal". The related noun is el hdour, "presence".
