In Algerian Darja
9al قال
A verb meaning “to say”; “to tell, report what was said”.
قالّي راح يجي غدوا: “He told me he'd come tomorrow.”
tgoul تقول
A verb meaning “you say / she says”; “as if, it looks like”.
واش تقول نتا؟: “What do you say, you?”
nqoulou نقولوا
A verb meaning “we say”; “let's say, shall we say”.
حنا هكا نقولوا في دزاير.: “We say it like that in Algiers.”
