Usage
3eryen means "naked", for a person or a part of the body: rasou 3eryen ("his head is bare"). The feminine is 3eryena, the plural 3ra or 3eryenin. The word also applies to something exposed, such as a stripped electric wire. It appears in expressions of poverty, for example 7afyen 3eryen ("barefoot and without clothes"), for someone who has nothing. It is not vulgar in itself, but it should not be used for simply light clothing.
