anahi انهي
Tunisian Derja · pronoun
“anahi” (انهي) is a pronoun in Tunisian Derja meaning which (one), feminine.
Meanings
- which (one), feminine
Usage
anahi is the Tunisian interrogative "which", in the feminine. The masculine is anahou and the plural anahoma. It is used on its own (anahi? "which one?") or before a feminine noun: anahi el kar? ("which bus?"). With a masculine noun, you must say anahou: anahou el ktab? The word must therefore agree with what it refers to. It is often written as two words (ana hi) or contracted (anhi). The word is very common and belongs to the informal register.
