Usage
Fa5our belongs to a fairly formal register, taken from Standard Arabic. It is nevertheless very widespread, especially in congratulations and on social media. For haughtiness or arrogance, "mtkabber" or "chay5" is used instead. In more casual speech, you also hear "ras-i 3ali bik" (you make me hold my head high).
