Usage
Moul is always followed by a complement: moul el-hanout (the shop owner), moul ed-dar (the owner of the house). The feminine is moulat and the plural is mwalin. It is also used to refer to someone by a distinguishing feature: moul sbat lahmer (the one with the red shoes), moul el-moto (the guy with the motorbike). In the sense of "kitchen mold", it is a loan from French, unrelated to the first sense. The sense "to finance" belongs rather to the verb mawwel, which is formal.
